Action
State agency Web sites shall incorporate an appropriate privacy notice as required by the Governor's Executive Order 00-03 and the Information Services Board Public Records Privacy Protection Policy.

Why
Public confidence and trust in government is dependent upon the protection of sensitive personal information collected by government agencies.

What/How
  • Download and review the Model Privacy Notice.
  • Use a Web site Privacy Notice to identify information your agency collects from visitors and to describe how it is used.
  • A link to your Privacy Notice must be prominently placed on the agency's home page and on any other page where personal information is collected.
